Story
Bolt grew analytics hosting faster than the local tools around it. From Estonia, industrials teams still had to serve customers and internal partners who expected a straight answer. Data engineers were the ones stitching the picture together by hand.
Rolling out VMware Cloud Foundation put data platform operations on VMware. VMware, part of Broadcom, provides virtualization, private cloud, and container software used to run enterprise data centers. Bolt keeps the product in the path where work already happens, so data engineers do not context-switch into a graveyard system used only for audits.
The visible result is steadier data platform operations. Analytics hosting is easier to inspect, and adjacent groups can join data engineers without a guided tour of someone's desktop.
