Story
GoCardless did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed planning and forecasting to move. In the United Kingdom, FP&A already knew where financial planning went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.
Temenos SaaS from Temenos is now in that path. Temenos provides core banking and digital banking software used by financial institutions to run accounts, payments, and channels. The company treats it as production tooling for planning and forecasting, which is why FP&A live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.
GoCardless can show how financial planning is handled today. That is the value: a repeatable way to run planning and forecasting on software the rest of the industry already recognizes.
