Story
Financials work at Marqeta spans more than one site, even when headquarters sits in the United States. Core processing was splitting across regional habits. Operations and product asked for a shared way to run banking operations without freezing local judgment.
Temenos (Temenos Infinity) is what they standardized on. Temenos provides core banking and digital banking software used by financial institutions to run accounts, payments, and channels. Marqeta uses it as the system of record for core processing, with operations and product as the primary operators and other groups coming in through the same queue.
Leaders get a picture they can actually walk. Teams get fewer mystery statuses. The story is about operating change, not an unpublished percentage.
