Story
Tencent grew application traffic faster than the local tools around it. From China, communication services teams still had to serve customers and internal partners who expected a straight answer. Network and app owners were the ones stitching the picture together by hand.
Rolling out F5 BIG-IP put application delivery on F5. F5 provides application delivery, security, and traffic management products used in front of enterprise applications. Tencent keeps the product in the path where work already happens, so network and app owners do not context-switch into a graveyard system used only for audits.
The visible result is steadier application delivery. Application traffic is easier to inspect, and adjacent groups can join network and app owners without a guided tour of someone's desktop.
