Story
Communication Services work at du spans more than one site, even when headquarters sits in the United Arab Emirates. Financial close was splitting across regional habits. Controllers and shared services asked for a shared way to run record to report without freezing local judgment.
SAP (SAP SuccessFactors) is what they standardized on. SAP is the global leader in enterprise resource planning software, with S/4HANA, business technology platform services, and industry cloud applications. du uses it as the system of record for financial close, with controllers and shared services as the primary operators and other groups coming in through the same queue.
Leaders get a picture they can actually walk. Teams get fewer mystery statuses. The story is about operating change, not an unpublished percentage.
