Story
Bloomberg grew workload migration faster than the local tools around it. From the United States, financials teams still had to serve customers and internal partners who expected a straight answer. Migration squads were the ones stitching the picture together by hand.
Rolling out Aria put datacenter exit planning on VMware. VMware, part of Broadcom, provides virtualization, private cloud, and container software used to run enterprise data centers. Bloomberg keeps the product in the path where work already happens, so migration squads do not context-switch into a graveyard system used only for audits.
The visible result is steadier datacenter exit planning. Workload migration is easier to inspect, and adjacent groups can join migration squads without a guided tour of someone's desktop.
