Rolling out Red Hat Insights put data platform operations on Red Hat. Red Hat, an IBM company, provides enterprise open source platforms, including RHEL, OpenShift, and Ansible, for hybrid cloud. Commercial Metals keeps the product in the path where work already happens, so data engineers do not context-switch into a graveyard system used only for audits.
The visible result is steadier data platform operations. Analytics hosting is easier to inspect, and adjacent groups can join data engineers without a guided tour of someone's desktop.
