Story
Rabobank grew governed analytics faster than the local tools around it. From the Netherlands, financials teams still had to serve customers and internal partners who expected a straight answer. Analysts and finance partners were the ones stitching the picture together by hand.
Rolling out Confluent Cloud put enterprise reporting on Confluent. Confluent is the data streaming platform built around Apache Kafka, used to move events between applications in real time. Rabobank keeps the product in the path where work already happens, so analysts and finance partners do not context-switch into a graveyard system used only for audits.
The visible result is steadier enterprise reporting. Governed analytics is easier to inspect, and adjacent groups can join analysts and finance partners without a guided tour of someone's desktop.
