PTTPTT Modernizes Operations Visibility with Cadence
PTT, an energy organization in Thailand, uses Cadence Allegro from Cadence to support plant and field operations for operations engineers.
PTT standardized operations visibility on Cadence instead of keeping parallel copies.
“From Thailand, energy teams still had to serve customers and internal partners who expected a straight answer.”
“Cadence Design Systems supplies computational software for integrated circuit, system, and PCB design used by electronics companies.”

Value results
| Category | Value result |
|---|---|
| Productivity | Fewer stalled items because operations visibility has a clear owner |
| Productivity | Handoffs in plant and field operations sit in a shared queue instead of a mailbox trail |
| Capability | New joiners can see how plant and field operations actually runs |
Story
PTT grew operations visibility faster than the local tools around it. From Thailand, energy teams still had to serve customers and internal partners who expected a straight answer. Operations engineers were the ones stitching the picture together by hand.
Rolling out Cadence Allegro put plant and field operations on Cadence. Cadence Design Systems supplies computational software for integrated circuit, system, and PCB design used by electronics companies. PTT keeps the product in the path where work already happens, so operations engineers do not context-switch into a graveyard system used only for audits.
The visible result is steadier plant and field operations. Operations visibility is easier to inspect, and adjacent groups can join operations engineers without a guided tour of someone's desktop.
