Story
Glencore did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed identity operations to move. In Switzerland, IAM and helpdesk already knew where access control went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.
Cortex XSOAR from Palo Alto Networks is now in that path. Palo Alto Networks provides network, cloud, and security operations products used to protect enterprise environments and automate response. The company treats it as production tooling for identity operations, which is why IAM and helpdesk live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.
Glencore can show how access control is handled today. That is the value: a repeatable way to run identity operations on software the rest of the industry already recognizes.
