Story

Contentful did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed remote access to move. In Germany, network and IT already knew where private application access went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.

Cortex XSOAR from Palo Alto Networks is now in that path. Palo Alto Networks provides network, cloud, and security operations products used to protect enterprise environments and automate response. The company treats it as production tooling for remote access, which is why network and IT live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.

Contentful can show how private application access is handled today. That is the value: a repeatable way to run remote access on software the rest of the industry already recognizes.
