Story
Inside NetApp, change control used to depend on whoever still had the latest file. That pattern is common in information technology groups working out of the United States. Engineering and quality needed a system that would still make sense after the original project team moved on.
NetApp uses Codebeamer from PTC as the working layer for product lifecycle data. PTC provides product lifecycle management, CAD, and industrial IoT software used by manufacturers to design and service products.
