Story
Nasdaq did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed planning and forecasting to move. In the United States, FP&A already knew where financial planning went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.
BillingCenter from Guidewire is now in that path. Guidewire makes core insurance software for policy, billing, and claims used by property and casualty carriers. The company treats it as production tooling for planning and forecasting, which is why FP&A live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.
Nasdaq can show how financial planning is handled today. That is the value: a repeatable way to run planning and forecasting on software the rest of the industry already recognizes.
