Story
Communication Services work at King spans more than one site, even when headquarters sits in Sweden. Cloud landing zones was splitting across regional habits. Infrastructure and application teams asked for a shared way to run platform operations without freezing local judgment.
Google Cloud (Vertex AI) is what they standardized on. Google Cloud provides infrastructure, analytics, and AI services, including BigQuery and Vertex AI, for data-heavy and machine learning workloads. King uses it as the system of record for cloud landing zones, with infrastructure and application teams as the primary operators and other groups coming in through the same queue.
Leaders get a picture they can actually walk. Teams get fewer mystery statuses. The story is about operating change, not an unpublished percentage.
