Story
KBC Group grew event streams faster than the local tools around it. From Belgium, financials teams still had to serve customers and internal partners who expected a straight answer. Platform engineers were the ones stitching the picture together by hand.
Rolling out Qlik Cloud put real-time operations on Qlik. Qlik provides analytics and data integration software, including Qlik Sense and Talend, for interactive analysis and pipelines. KBC Group keeps the product in the path where work already happens, so platform engineers do not context-switch into a graveyard system used only for audits.
The visible result is steadier real-time operations. Event streams is easier to inspect, and adjacent groups can join platform engineers without a guided tour of someone's desktop.
