Story
Hitachi did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed program management to move. In Japan, project and operations leads already knew where cross-team delivery went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.
Bitbucket from Atlassian is now in that path. Atlassian provides work management and DevOps software, including Jira and Confluence, used by software and business teams. The company treats it as production tooling for program management, which is why project and operations leads live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.
Hitachi can show how cross-team delivery is handled today. That is the value: a repeatable way to run program management on software the rest of the industry already recognizes.
