Story
Inside Heineken, agreement management used to depend on whoever still had the latest file. That pattern is common in consumer staples groups working out of the Netherlands. Legal and business owners needed a system that would still make sense after the original project team moved on.
Heineken uses GitHub Copilot from Microsoft as the working layer for contract routing. Microsoft provides productivity, business applications, and developer tools used across the enterprise, including Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and GitHub. The practical change is simple: agreement management has a home, and reviews happen there instead of in a forwarded thread.
Nothing in this writeup invents a savings number. What Heineken gets from Microsoft is a durable place to run agreement management and a way for legal and business owners to see the same contract routing at the same time.
