Story
Swedbank grew financial planning faster than the local tools around it. From Sweden, financials teams still had to serve customers and internal partners who expected a straight answer. FP&A were the ones stitching the picture together by hand.
Rolling out InsuranceSuite put planning and forecasting on Guidewire. Guidewire makes core insurance software for policy, billing, and claims used by property and casualty carriers. Swedbank keeps the product in the path where work already happens, so FP&A do not context-switch into a graveyard system used only for audits.
The visible result is steadier planning and forecasting. Financial planning is easier to inspect, and adjacent groups can join FP&A without a guided tour of someone's desktop.
