Story
Eversource Energy did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed platform operations to move. In the United States, infrastructure and application teams already knew where cloud landing zones went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.
Google Kubernetes Engine from Google Cloud is now in that path. Google Cloud provides infrastructure, analytics, and AI services, including BigQuery and Vertex AI, for data-heavy and machine learning workloads. The company treats it as production tooling for platform operations, which is why infrastructure and application teams live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.
