Story
Ecopetrol did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed datacenter exit planning to move. In Colombia, migration squads already knew where workload migration went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.
Amazon EKS from AWS is now in that path. Amazon Web Services is the leading public cloud for compute, storage, data, and AI services, used to run production systems at global scale. The company treats it as production tooling for datacenter exit planning, which is why migration squads live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.
