CenteneDataiku at Centene: Event Streams
Centene, a health care organization in the United States, uses Govern from Dataiku to support real-time operations for platform engineers.
Centene uses Govern to move operational events between systems as they happen.
“In the United States, platform engineers already knew where event streams went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.”
“Dataiku is a universal AI platform that lets data teams and analysts collaborate on pipelines, models, and governed AI applications.”

Story
Centene did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed real-time operations to move. In the United States, platform engineers already knew where event streams went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.
Govern from Dataiku is now in that path. Dataiku is a universal AI platform that lets data teams and analysts collaborate on pipelines, models, and governed AI applications. The company treats it as production tooling for real-time operations, which is why platform engineers live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.
Centene can show how event streams is handled today. That is the value: a repeatable way to run real-time operations on software the rest of the industry already recognizes.
