Story
Information Technology work at Canva spans more than one site, even when headquarters sits in Australia. Analytics hosting was splitting across regional habits. Data engineers asked for a shared way to run data platform operations without freezing local judgment.
AWS (AWS Lambda) is what they standardized on. Amazon Web Services is the leading public cloud for compute, storage, data, and AI services, used to run production systems at global scale. Canva uses it as the system of record for analytics hosting, with data engineers as the primary operators and other groups coming in through the same queue.
Leaders get a picture they can actually walk. Teams get fewer mystery statuses. The story is about operating change, not an unpublished percentage.
