Story
Industrials work at Atlas Copco spans more than one site, even when headquarters sits in Sweden. Workload migration was splitting across regional habits. Migration squads asked for a shared way to run datacenter exit planning without freezing local judgment.
Google Cloud (Vertex AI) is what they standardized on. Google Cloud provides infrastructure, analytics, and AI services, including BigQuery and Vertex AI, for data-heavy and machine learning workloads. Atlas Copco uses it as the system of record for workload migration, with migration squads as the primary operators and other groups coming in through the same queue.
Leaders get a picture they can actually walk. Teams get fewer mystery statuses. The story is about operating change, not an unpublished percentage.
