Story
Industrials work at Arup spans more than one site, even when headquarters sits in the United Kingdom. Application traffic was splitting across regional habits. Network and app owners asked for a shared way to run application delivery without freezing local judgment.
Cisco (ThousandEyes) is what they standardized on. Cisco provides networking, collaboration, and security products that connect offices, data centers, and hybrid work. Arup uses it as the system of record for application traffic, with network and app owners as the primary operators and other groups coming in through the same queue.
Leaders get a picture they can actually walk. Teams get fewer mystery statuses. The story is about operating change, not an unpublished percentage.
