Story

Acer did not need another dashboard that nobody opened. It needed planning and forecasting to move. In Taiwan, FP&A already knew where financial planning went wrong: too many copies, too little ownership, and a close process that waited on the loudest inbox.

Credit Karma from Intuit is now in that path. Intuit builds financial software for consumers and small and midsize businesses, including QuickBooks, TurboTax, Mailchimp, and Credit Karma. The company treats it as production tooling for planning and forecasting, which is why FP&A live in it rather than exporting from it once a quarter.

Acer can show how financial planning is handled today. That is the value: a repeatable way to run planning and forecasting on software the rest of the industry already recognizes.
