Engineers now spend virtually zero time on data parsing and preprocessing—previously consuming four hours daily—and benefit from 25x faster data queries through BigQuery, enabling them to focus entirely on model development. Product release cycles accelerated from monthly to biweekly, with overall engineering efficiency improving by up to 40%. Additionally, encryption, build, and test cycles were compressed from hours to just 10 minutes, while enhanced security capabilities provided ASML with a powerful competitive advantage in a security-conscious industry. This success has positioned ASML as a cloud pioneer within semiconductor manufacturing, demonstrating that advanced cloud infrastructure can deliver both superior performance and stronger security than traditional on-premises solutions.
