Baltimore Gas and Electric

Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE) is Maryland's largest natural gas and electric utility, serving over 1.2 million electric customers and more than 650,000 natural gas customers across central Maryland. Headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, BGE is a subsidiary of the Exelon Corporation and employs 3,100 people within the state. The utility is involved in operations, including managing power restoration after severe weather events, and its rates and customer service are regulated by the Maryland Public Service Commission.
